The 3AM Call

In a special sense Seventh-day Adventists have been set in the world as watchmen and light-bearers. To them has been entrusted the last warning for a perishing world. On them is shining wonderful light from the Word of God. They have been given a work of the most solemn import—the proclamation of the first, second, and third angels’ messages. There is no other work of so great importance. They are to allow nothing else to absorb their attention. --Evangelism 119

Right now, our world is desperate for answers—answers that we can provide. However, if we don't take action to reach out to those seekers, their questions may go unanswered. Even worse, they may find “answers” that lead them in the wrong direction. 

Jesus has called each one of us to spread the Gospel to all parts of the world. Everyone has to decide how they will respond to that call. We can choose to accept the call and take action, or we can choose to reject the call, and fail in the responsibility Jesus has given us.

You've been called....how will you answer?

This path will help you:

  • Understand the importance of the Three Angels' messages in today's world

  • Learn how to effectively present these messages to people who are eager to listen

  • Be confident as you share these messages and lead people to Christ

  • Be an effective partner in finishing the work so Jesus can come take us home

This might seem a bit intimidating—after all, words like “special....entrusted....solemn import...no other work of so great importance....allow nothing else to absorb their attention...” make it clear that this is serious.

But as lay people, it may seem difficult for us to fulfill this responsibility. We're busy—often overwhelmed with just getting through the day. How can we add one more thing? We're not pastors or theologians, so how can we do this work without making a lot of embarrassing mistakes?

Lack of training can lead to fear and uncertainty which can stop us from taking action. Overwhelmingly busy lifestyles can discourage us from finding time to pursue the solemn responsibility given to us.

At ASI, we understand these feelings—we've felt them too. But, we believe these issues shouldn't be allowed to interfere with our responsibility to share the Three Angels' messages.

We believe there is no other work of so great importance, and nothing else should absorb our attention.

And that's why we've launched The 3AM Call—a community that provides training and resources you can use to answer The 3AM call and become a Three Angels' Messages Missionary...a 3AM Missionary.
